    Abstract
Fairy tales are the unrealistic tales full of fairies, magic, orges, love, hatred and unnatural power. The roots of fairy tales can be found from the 15 th and 16 th century in the European countries. Fairy tales as the name suggests these are the tales full of fairies, magic, imagination and a happy ending. Fairy tales are stories made of pure imagination which has no connection with reality. We can easily understand how women are depicted in Fairy Tales through their depictions whether it be the protagonist or the antagonist.
