    Abstract
In developed nations, the quickest increasing section of people with vision problems is the elderly. This population is forecast to expand within next years. This study highlights the most typical age-related vision changes and impaired vision associated with ageing, as well as the effects. It contains information for medical providers on how to prepare an elderly patient to profit from low-vision therapy treatments. It highlighted the need of functional evaluation and teaching on use of visual skills and vision equipment. The article also highlights the significance of cooperation in providing a full range of rehabilitation treatments and managements to older persons with impaired vision, as well as the importance of support from family members and caregivers to help improve life quality.
