One of the most prevalent viral diseases spread by mosquitoes in the world, dengue fever has significant fatality and morbidity rates, particularly in tropical and subtropical areas. Aides is the species of mosquito responsible for dengue transmission. Numerous variables, including geography, rainfall, temperature, and rapid urbanisation or globalisation, have an impact on the spread of the dengue virus. (1) The clinical signs can be mild or severe, with fatal results. Due to its rapid global expansion and the lack of a precise treatment, an accessible diagnostic tool for the early stages of illness, and an effective and well-coordinated vector control strategy, dengue is currently the most significant public health issue. (2) From mild dengue fever (DF) to potentially fatal diseases like dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) or dengue shock syndrome (DSS), clinical indications of symptomatic dengue infection can vary greatly. We examined the pertinent literature in order to evaluate the risks associated with DHF and the most recent suggestions for its management and prevention.en_US
