Cloud IAM, or Identity and Access Management for cloud-based resources, is a critical component of cloud
security. Cloud IAM refers to the policies, procedures, and technologies that allow organizations to manage and
control access to their cloud-based applications, data, and infrastructure. With cloud IAM, organizations can
securely grant access to their cloud resources to users, devices, and applications based on defined roles and
permissions. Cloud IAM solutions also provide audit trails, activity monitoring, and reporting to ensure
compliance with regulations and organizational policies. Cloud IAM is a complex and evolving field that
requires careful planning, implementation, and management to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of
cloud resources. Effective cloud IAM solutions must be scalable, flexible, and capable of adapting to changing
requirements and evolving security threats.
