dc.description.abstractThe objective of the present study was carried out to study the academic performance of senior secondary students in relation to their academic stress, emotional intelligence and study habits in view the objectives of the study an investigation was undertaken and thereafter data were tabulated and analyzed with the help of statistical techniques. On the basis of review related literature and in the light of the available survey of literature the relevance of the present study was conducted on 800 government and private male and female senior secondary students of district Gautam Buddh Nagar, up. India by using descriptive survey research design. Data was collected by administering standardized tools as Scale for Assessing Academic Stress by Uday K. Sinha (2009). ‘Emotional Intelligence Inventory’ by S.K. Mangal and Shubhra Mangal (2014)., and ‘Study Habits Scale’ by Dr. M. L. Jaidka and Dimple Rani (2014). Student’s 12th standard board examination marks were used for assessing academic performance.en_US
